LLTA Committees and Projects The success of any nonprofit trade association hinges on the involvement and participation level of its most valued resource, its members. Therefore, the LLTA encourages all our members to participate on one of our committees. All committee and task force work is crucial to the accomplishment of LLTA's mission. Please take a moment read more about our committees and contact us if you're interested in serving on one or more. Membership and Operations This committee is charged with developing a sound structure of internal organization and developing new member benefits and programs. Activities include recruiting members and sponsors and overseeing coordination of monthly meetings. Resource and Development This committee works to guide and develop the infrastructure necessary to strengthen the LLTA membership through professional and educational opportunities. Activities include coordinating events for business and professional development and creating an online "Career Center" via the LLTA website. Publicity and Image This committee develops and executes a marketing and communications strategy that identifies and promotes the LLTA to local media, governments, educational institutions, the business community and current and potential members. Economic Development This committee is charged with working closely with local chambers of commerce, governments, and economic development councils in an effort to recruit technology companies to the region. Activities include compiling and providing statistical data and information to participating partners. |
