Brought back by popular demand, the Lake Lanier Technology Alliance, in conjunction with DJ Diversions and Aflac Regional Sales Coordinator Kim Backman, will be sponsoring TECHIE TRIVIA at our monthly general meeting on Thursday, February 17 at 5:30 p.m. For those of you who missed it last year, a great time was had by all. You won’t want to miss the tremendous informal networking and good-natured trivia competition based on ‘techie’ issues, all in the relaxed atmosphere of HenryO’s in Gainesville.
Professional Disc Jockey Mark Wilkins of DJ Diversions will emcee the evening’s proceedings, and of course Henry will supply his famous heavy hors d’Oeuvres and adult beverages for your enjoyment. Kim Backman from Aflac will be on hand previewing some of the new and exiting programs Aflac has to offer. She has also promised to bring lots of the coveted Aflac Duck freebies and prizes. Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends or co-workers and show off your trivia knowledge. Don’t get left out in the cold!! From Atlanta/Oakwood – Take I985 N. to exit 22 (Hwy. 129); go left at end of exit ramp; go approx. 4 mi. on E.E. Butler, and turn left at Jesse Jewell Pkwy(Hwy. 369) The Best Western and Wachovia Bldg. are on the corners. Go 3-4 traffic lights, turn right onto W. Academy St. at the train engine. Then take a right onto Spring St. HenryO’s is on the left.
From GA 400 – Take exit 17, go east. At 2nd traffic light, turn right onto Hwy. 369, to Gainesville. Go through intersection with Queen City Pkwy. / John Morrow Pkwy. (Hwy. 53) Turn left onto W. Academy St. at the train engine. Then take a right onto Spring St. HenryO's is on the left.
LLTA General Membership Meetings are held monthly in various locations around the Lake Lanier Area. All visitors/guests are expected to pay the non-member meeting fee, even if accompanied by a current LLTA member. All 2004 members in good standing will be considered current members until renewal notices are sent out in February, 2005.
