Advanced Compliance Solutions, Inc., www.acstestlab.com, is a very unique new member to the LLTA. The company is a test laboratory in the disciplines of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). This service is in high demand by manufacturers of anything electronic. Clients range from the manufacturers of toys to computers to sophisticated telecommunications equipment to military weapons systems.
The facility employs a full sized anechoic chamber as well as open area antenna ranges outside. The anechoic chamber is a large room lined with a similar material as that on the skin of the stealth fighter aircraft, nearly invisible to radar. The room shields RF energy from the outside as well as absorbing this energy from any device on the inside, creating a completely quiet ambient measurement environment.
